About our gîte

Located in Heer-sur-Meuse, in the municipality of Hastière, Le Gîte Les Roches stands proudly facing the Meuse, set within an extensive 20-hectare estate, its blue limestone building reflecting an iconic Mosan style.

Built before the First World War, the gîte was completely modernised and decorated in 2016 by Isabelle Ausselet and Eduardo.

This building was historically constructed before the First World War.

For decades, it belonged to Isabelle's grandfather. In 2016, Eduardo and Isabelle decided to completely renovate this property to transform it into a gîte for 8 people, in a magnificent, pleasant and relaxing setting.

We hebben met 2 gezinnen een fantastisch Hemelvaart weekend doorgebracht in deze prachtige accommodatie. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, de kamers zijn ruim en het terras biedt uitzicht op de Maas. De ultieme plek om te bbq-en en buiten te genieten van de avondzon. Voor de kinderen genoeg buitenruimte om bijvoorbeeld te vissen en te voetballen. Echt een aanrader!

Désireux de trouver un endroit idéal pour réunir mes proches et fêter dignement mon départ à la retraite, nous avons trouvé ce gîte qui a parfaitement, voir plus, répondu à mes attentes. Endroit calme, propre, super bien équipé, doté d'une literie dont tout le monde s'est félicité. Nous avons passé un merveilleux WE. Et je ne peux que conseiller à tous ceux qui ont bon goût d'y aller les yeux fermés. Et respectez-le car je compte bien y retourner. Luc

Our extended family (4 adults, 3 children under 10) spent a fantastic week at the Gite this August. It is without question one of the best equipped, most comfortable holiday homes we have experienced in years. The owners have done a wonderful job with its renovation, and it was a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful part of the Ardennes. We will be sure to return!
